Our Volcano

Pre-school have been exploring a volcano tuff tray, with different dinosaurs and minibeasts, textures, numbers and letters.

The children spoke about chemical reactions and how they can occur when mixing two or more materials together.

The children discussed what they thought may happen when mixing bicarbonate of soda and vinegar.

Together they watched the ingredients be mixed and where very happy with the end result.
