
Food Tasting
Joanne(Nursery Manager) has brought into nursery different fruits and vegetables that were home grown organic on her dad’s allotment.
These were Rhubarb, pea pods, plums, couchettes, and onions.
The children explored them using touch, taste and smell. They talked about the different size, colours and taste and about how and where they were grown.
The children then used the left over fruit and vegetables to mark make in paint and created pictures.
