Caterpillar update
Our caterpillars are enjoying their new homes on the display in Wise Owls. the caterpillars are getting bigger everyday and are now forming silk around themselves. Caterpillars use silk when they pupate, either to suspend a chrysalis or to construct a cocoon.
The children have also created their own giant caterpillar out of light shades, they painted the light shades green and red and then stuck them together to made a caterpillar.
