Whole Nursery Grandparents Day

Today we invite all our grandparents into the nursery for afternoon tea to show them how much we care about them and thank them for everything they do for us.

Whole Nursery World Animal Day

Come to nursery dress as your favourite animal as we spend the day pretending to be different animals from all over the world.

We want to help support the nature watch foundation in showing awareness of how important animals are all over the world and encourage people to make the world a better place for all animals.

We will be talking about how we can care for the different animals and look at where in the world the different species of animals originate from.

Whole Nursery Diwali

Diwali is the Hindu festival of light, the children will be creating their own lanterns and firework pictures. To celebrate this festival children can wear traditional clothing.

Celebrations includes millions of lights shining on housetops, outside doors and windows, around temples and other buildings in the communities and countries where Diwali is celebrated.

Hindu’s pray to Lakshmi who is the goddess of wealth and good fortune to bring them luck for the coming year.

Lights are left burning all night so the Lakshmi may feel welcome and enter their houses.
