The room offers a wide variety of activities for the children with a range of messy and creative activities such as sticking, painting and a well-equipped sand and water area.

The room also offers an extensive construction and roll play area. There are also a range of art easels in the well-equipped art area. This room also enjoys a book/quiet area.

These rooms are monitored via CCTV.

Dashing Deers

Our Dashing Deers room currently allows children from the age of two to thrive and develop whilst being encouraged to engage in play that appeals to them, with the staff supporting each individual child’s learning and development.

The areas in the room aim to create a calm, relaxing yet more structured environment to help the children thrive as they play. The children begin to socialise and interact more with their peers through group activities, story time and investigative play.

The staff begin to enhance the children’s play with special experiences that offer carefully managed risks and challenges.

This room has access to our over two’s outdoor play area where carefully managed, physical activities can take place. They have access to cars, bikes and our larger play frame as well as the story, music and stage areas within the garden.

Our garden is made of different textured surfaces from astro-turf, rubber crumb, bark, soil, tarmac and wet pour rubber. As such children can and often do get messy when exploring the wonders of the garden.
